What are the 4 types of lighting?

There are four main types of lighting that are used in a retail setting: Ambient, Task, Accent and Decorative.

Ambient Indoor Lighting

Bright, powerful lighting that illuminates an entire room. General lighting, or now better known as ambient lighting, has a single purpose: to provide you with uniform lighting throughout the room, completely independent of other light sources. Creating strong ambient lighting through bounces and reflections off the walls, ensuring safe and easy navigation as the primary purpose.


Task lighting

Whether you are productive at the computer, love to prepare a delicious meal or just sit back and relax with a good book, nothing helps you better than task lighting.


Accent Lighting

Achieving a specific desired effect by focusing on specific points of interest is the best effect of accent lighting. Whether you want to create the impression of a larger space, emphasize a specific feature or decorative focus, e.g. B. a beautiful collection or even a specific unique piece of art, the accent lighting is right for you.


Decorative Lighting

One of the most important things to consider when choosing your decorative lighting is the effect the design will have on the light transmitted. There are few things that can make a statement or create as much mood as a quality chandelier or floor lamp. Carefully choose the location of your decorative lights, their style and colour and nothing will prevent the room of your dreams from appearing and shining before your eyes.
