• Frequency: To determine the operating frequency of the circuit breaker, consider amplifiers. Choosing the wrong one can result in power loss, heat build-up, reduced performance, and potential component damage.
• Maximum Breaking Capacity: The maximum breaking capacity of a circuit breaker must always be greater than or equal to the short-circuit current that causes the circuit breaker to open, if not, the circuit breaker will fail.
 

Can a Switch Be Used Instead of A Circuit Breaker?

No, this is never recommended. The switch is not able to detect and open an overload. This can result in a potentially very dangerous situation that endangers equipment and people.
